Sounding a Warning on Kids and Screen Time
“It’s been about 50 years since Marshall McCluhan said that “we shape our tools and afterwards our tools shape us.” There’s shaping going on right under our noses. . . literally. . . and for the most part, we aren’t at all aware that it’s happening. Nor do we know what it’s doing to us and our kids.”

Yahoo News article: “38% of kids under 2 use smart phones or tablets”
“The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that children under the ago of 2 not spend any time in front of media screens, including phones, tablets and television. “A child’s brain develops rapidly during these first years, and young children learn best by interacting with people, not screens,” the AAP writes.”
